There has been adoption of healthcare sensing technologies in mobile area. Especially it has happened in wearable devices, mainly because it is close to our body in time and location. Samsung electronics has searched the way of sensing technology integration in watches from 2013. History of integration and what need to be considered in wearables would be dealt.

Biography: Dr. Kim is a hardware leader in Healthcare division in Samsung Electronics. He started his carrier for developing hardware and algorithm of bioelectrical impedance analysis(BIA) and recently launched the body composition measurement in Galaxy Watch4. He is in charge of developing hardware of Photoplethysmography(PPG), Electrocardiography(ECG) and optical/electrical interface of wearable devices. Recently he leads several clinical approval projects; Arrhythmia detection with ECG(Afib in FDA) and Blood pressure(EU). linkedin.com/in/justin-yh-kim-01bb4765
